As the Lilydale district was the home of Dame Nellie Melba, our society has a major focus on her and her family. We have developed our own special tours of the local places important in the lives of Melba and her family.

Our guides can join your bus tour and provide commentary as you drive to key points of interest such as Cave Hill Quarry, the Athenaeum Theatre, Coomb Cottage and the Lilydale Cemetery. We can also escort people in cars to the various points of interest. The choice is yours.

For those who prefer to walk, we have also developed an easy guided walk starting and finishing at the Old Lilydale Court House.
